Day 27
Goodbye old friend! I traded in my old wedding ring today to so I could get the wedding band to go with the new ring I got. As Jon put it when I talked to him, "It's not my love for you, it's a piece of metal." It is sentimental, but it wouldn't be getting the love it deserves sitting in a box, so I took it into the jeweler. I'm happy that it will hopefully be bought by someone else and be well loved. :)
Excuse the horrible looking blue thumbnail. :) Was trying out a polish color and smudged it before it was dry...so I ended up just rubbing it all off.

Day 20
"Choose to Reuse"
I have a pink plastic water bottle like this one, but it's slowly fading. I've had it for at least a year already. Today at the px I saw the stainless ones and fell in love. Camelbak water bottles are the best! Now I want one in each of the patterns :) Also found out they make kid bottles. The kids love stealing mine...I may just have to get them each their own.

Day 16
My friend Amanda came out to visit the kids and I for a week. We decided to be total twerds and go to Forks. We stopped along the way to see some of the sights. The Olympic Game Farm in Sequim was the first thing we did. This windmill caught my eye as soon as we drove in. I love the little birds perched up on top.

Day 10
Good morning Mt. Rainier!
This is only about a minute down the street from our house. There was nobody driving close behind me so I was able to stop for just a sec to take this before I had to keep driving. I love seeing the mountain whenever I go anywhere...it's so pretty.

Day 7
I know...I'm a day late. Fell asleep in the middle of doing this last night and then forgot this morning. Yesterday we went to see the twin lambs at Mel's house. They are absolutely adorable. I wish they would have stood up so I could have seen them on those long legs, but they were so sleepy.

Day 6
This was the highlight of the kids day. Watching "Mr. Jon" work on the CR-V. They also really like the guy that kept coming over and working by the window. He shined his flashlight on them which they thought was so funny. I'm so glad I have such good kids. They were great while we were waiting for everything to be done.

Day 5
I went CURB SHOPPING! This weekend I picked this up in our neighborhood. I was so excited. The weather has been so nasty lately so I cleaned it all up (including draining water out of the sides...that is why there are towels under it, just in case it keeps leaking) and stuck it in the playroom. I love finding things for free.

Day 3
WooHoo! Bring on the workouts! Today my dad, aunt, and uncle brought over my treadmill. My dad got it for me for Christmas. I used it tonight after the kids went to bed and loved it. I can't wait to really start working out more. My first goal is to be able to wear my wedding ring without having to get it sized.

Day 2 (part 2)
Ok...so I suck at the one picture a day thing. The extras can just count for days I get lazy right? :) I had a blast playing scrabble with some great people. Now I want to play more.
Day 2
Everyone say hi to Evan! This is my little brother. Our second day of visiting family had airsoft pellets flying. My brother and two of my cousins spent the better part of the day outside having an airsoft war. I had a lot of fun going out to take pictures of the boys. They were all very nice and didn't shoot me while I was out there :) Today was also Jon's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I could definitely see him running around out there in the rain having fun with the other guys. Can't wait to have you home babe!
Day 1 (part 2)
Our day ended with some very tired kidlets. Kaitlyn was so sleepy that she passed out on her Poppa's chest. Then when PJ time came I got her top on without as much as a flinch. I love how deep my kids sleep. I can get so much done after bedtime :)
Day 1
Our new year started with a long drive north to visit family. We stopped at a rest area and the kids loved this tree. I remember running around under it as a kid when we would stop there on the way to visit my grandparents. It's fun seeing my kids enjoy it now as well.
